MARINA, CA--MARCH 13, 2019: DURING THE BUSH Jr era, a Congressman announced from the floor of the House that the problem with education in the United States was that "teachers taught to the lowest common odometer rather than the brightest students." What he meant to say was that "teachers teach to the 'lowest common denominator." Listening to a person ostensibly guiding the country's education policy who hadn't benefited from his education gave me pause.
This blog is dedicated to the exploration of ideas. While we will explore many ideas, our emphasis is going to be law, legislation and the intersection of these with the rapid advances in cognitive research.
